India reached the 60-medal mark at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Thursday, with 10 gold, 21 silver and 29 bronze medals putting the contingent seventh in the overall standings.
The archers delivered the day's biggest haul, sweeping three gold medals in the men's, women's and mixed compound team events — the women's trio defeating China in the final.
Day 13's marquee events feature two heavyweight clashes. India's men's cricket team, the defending champions, face Sri Lanka in the semifinal, with Sri Lanka winning the toss and electing to field first. Jasprit Bumrah is expected to return to the XI.
In hockey, India meet arch-rivals Pakistan in the men's semifinal, while the women's hockey team has already booked its place in the final with a 2-0 win over South Korea. India's men's volleyball team also faced Pakistan in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
With wrestling, shooting, squash and track cycling also offering medal chances, it promises to be one of India's biggest days of the Games.
